Narrative Text

Narrative text is an imaginative story to entertain people. (Teks narasi adalah cerita yang imajinatif untuk menghibur orang.).

# Kind of Narrative (Jenis - jenis narasi) :

1. Tale (Kisah)
   -> A fictitious story about things that happened long time ago, or things that may not have really happened.
   -> Sebuah cerita fiktif tentang hal-hal yang terjadi sejak lama, atau hal-hal yang mungkin tidak benar-benar terjadi.
   
2. Myth (Mitos)
   -> A very old story about gods, magical creatures etc.
   -> Sebuah cerita yang sangat lama tentang dewa, makhluk ajaib dll
   
3. Legend (Legenda)
   -> An old story about brave people or magical events.
   -> Sebuah cerita lama tentang orang-orang berani atau peristiwa ajaib.
   
4.  Folktale (Cerita Rakyat)
   -> Traditional beliefs or story of a community (the folks) about the history of people & place.
   -> Keyakinan tradisional atau cerita dari masyarakat (orang-orang) tentang sejarah orang & tempat.
   
5. Fable (Fabel)
   -> A traditional story that teaches a moral lesson. Usually use characters are in the shape of animal.
   -> Sebuah cerita tradisional yang mengajarkan pelajaran moral. Biasanya karakter yang digunakan dalam bentuk hewan.

# The generic structure consist of :

1. Introduction or Orientation (Pengenalan atau Orientasi)
   -> Introduce the readers to the characters, the setting, and the conflict.
   -> Memperkenalkan kepada pembaca tentang tokoh, latar, dan konflik.
   
2. Complication (Komplikasi)
   -> Place where the problems in the story develop.
   -> Tempat masalah dalam cerita berkembang.
   
3. Resolution (Resolusi)
   -> Where the problems in the story solved.
   -> Dimana masalah dalam cerita terpecahkan

# Parts of Story (Bagian dalam cerita) :

1. Title (Judul)
2. Character (Tokoh)
   -> Main Character (Tokoh utama)
   -> Sub Character (Tokoh pembantu)
3. Characteristic (Watak / Sifat)
4. Setting (Latar)
   -> Setting Time (Latar waktu)
   -> Setting Place (Latar tempat)
5. Conflict (Koonflik)
6. Ending (Penutupan)
